I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but now divide my time between North Carolina and beautiful Door County Wisconsin on Lake Michigan. My husband Ben and I have raised two boys, Andrew and Gregory, of whom we are immensely proud. Photography has been an interest since I was a little girl, and I started out taking vacation photos at age ten with an instamatic film camera. Over the years I had taken a photography class or two; but this profession got serious for me in 2011 when I enrolled in the degree program in photography at Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC. The full-time six semester curriculum, combined with 320 hours of internship experience has well prepared me to serve as your photographer. Using my bachelors degree in Business Administration, I've become owner of Julie Stahr Photography LLC, with a studio in Greensboro, NC. When I'm not working on photography, you might find me hiking the NC Blue Ridge mountains, biking or kayaking the shores of Lake Michigan, reading good books, playing bridge, or traveling this country or the world.
